My brother in law, James, and a friend of his host a monthly podcast dedicated to the subject of leading worship within the local church. On Monday, they invited Taffy, our student ministry worship leader, and myself to join the podcast to talk about junior high worship. As you will hear, James, Christian and Taffy are the experts. I was just there for filler.
Ours is episode #9: One For The Young'ns.

Thanks for the link, bro. It was awesome to have you and Taffy there for an enlightening and worthwhile discussion.
Good stuff! I've been emphasizing with my middle school band the same things you all are. Sweet! My kids are diggin Hillsong United Take It All right now. Very repetative and energized. Thanks for the heads up on the podcast!
Kurt We're stocking a Youth Camp's Middle School book store. Do you have a top 5 books youd reccomend to Middle School students list?
thegoodz,
Something tells me books won't be selling at the store as well as glow sticks and skittles!
Gosh, I don't know what five book I would recommend. Even though I've written a couple, I'm not convinced jr. highers read a ton of christian books. But, a few off the top of my head:
How To Smell Like God by Steven James.
Don't Check Your Brains At The Door by Josh McDowell (old school, but still good)
My Faith by Mark Ostreicher and Kurt Johnston
The Revolve and Refuel magazine bibles.
